Oretha Ferguson has been in education for 22 years and currently teaches sophomore English at Southside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She is a co-author of The Classroom Management Book with Drs. Harry and Rosemary Wong released May 2014 and is frequently featured on Teachers.net. She was Fort Smith Public School's 2010-2011 Teacher-of-the-Year and state Teacher-of-the-Year finalists. She is an instructional and technology coach and presents workshops for her school, the Fort Smith Public School District, Hot Springs Technology Institute, Schools Without Walls, TICAL, and for coops and school districts throughout the state. She is a member of the SWOW team and a member of TIE Cadre, ARKSTE, NCTE, and the TICAL Community. She teaches in a one-to-one technology rich classroom. Her passion is working with students and showing teachers and administrators how to integrate technology to support teaching and learning.
