The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) released the most recent version of its technology standards for students in June 2016. While they still emphasize skills and qualities students need to engage and thrive in a connected digital world, the refreshed standards are substantially different from earlier versions. This session offers an opportunity for participants to unpack the new standards and learn about the critical elements necessary for effective technology use in classrooms. An online agenda will be provided for use during the conference and participants will have ongoing access to all materials referenced.
